Health Development and Training

The Development and Training Fund has been established for members of the health bargaining unit to provide access to learning opportunities for employees, encourage continuous learning, enhance employees' capacity to deliver quality service and prepare employees for changing roles within the health sector.

Health Development and Training - Casual

During the last round of health bargaining PEI UPSE was successful in acheiving the right for our casual members to access the Health Development and Training Fund. This fund is a joint initiative between the PEI UPSE and the Employer and after consulations the two parties developed guidelines and an application process for casual members to follow. Please see below for the fund guidelines and application form.

Civil Service Development and Training

The Development and Training Fund, a joint initiative of the Government and the PEI UPSE, is designed to provide funding to employees for learning opportunities, encourage employee participation, benefit career development and improve government service delivery to the citizens of this province.
