UPSE Proudly Donates $11,500 through the PEI UPSE Has a Heart Campaign!

The PEI Union of Public Sector Employees has donated $11,500 to non-profit community organizations across Prince Edward Island through the PEI UPSE Has a Heart campaign on Valentine’s Day.

Karen Jackson, President of UPSE, said “the annual campaign is about UPSE supporting community organizations that make a difference in the lives of Islanders.” She explained that “through UPSE Has a Heart we have been able to assist twenty-seven non-profit organizations with an average donation of $500.  We at UPSE believe that unions have a role to play in helping to strengthen our communities by supporting these wonderful organizations that provide valuable community support across the Island.”
